Pressure King Pro 6 Litres – inner pot capacity

Most people would suggest getting a pressure cooker with at least a 6-litre capacity if you have a family of 4 or more. The downside to this is the amount of space it would take on your kitchen table or counter.

The Pressure King Pro also comes in the 4 and 5 litre versions, some people may find these too constraining. Generally, pressure cookers can only be filled two-thirds full, and half full for foods that froth or foam. A good 6-litre pot can fit a whole chicken comfortably. You can opt for bigger capacity ones depending on need and if fits within your budget.

Pressure King Pro (6L) Dimensions

The cooker is 33.5 x 34.5 x 33.8 cm. Yes, it is a big cooker and it will take a lot of space in a small kitchen. It is a good idea to take a tape and consider how much room you have in your kitchen before picking one up if you know that your kitchen table is small.

You should remember however that the Pressure King pro aims at replacing most of your other cooking appliances.

How safe is the Pressure King Pro 6 L 20-in-1?

Most modern pressure cookers are safe to use and ‘goof proof’. Pressure cookers have pressure regulators that vent off some steam once the pressure inside them exceeds a certain limit (usually about 15 pounds per square inch or 15psi). This allows a constant pressure to be maintained inside the pressure cooker that is higher than atmospheric pressure. With that much heat at that much pressure, you do not need any mishaps or malfunctions.

With Pressure King Pro 20-in-1, the pressure release valve will automatically exhaust and limit the pressure, if the pressure exceeds normal limits. It also has a clog resistance feature in the lid which prevents food from blocking steam. Also, if the temperature rises too much, it will cut off and only start heating again when the temperature has returned to normal.

Pros

Cleaner Kitchen –  With the airtight lid on the cooker, you can avoid the odours, oily residue and oily splatters that often get in the way and make cooking time and clean up messy and uncomfortable.

More Functions than most electric pressure cookers in the market- We’re not all master chefs. And finding our way around some culinary details can be tasking. CONS

  • Many of the functions of the Pressure King Pro will not be used by many of the customers.
  • The inner pot is not stainless steel, so it will allow some food to get burnt. Some people complained that some of the food got stuck to the bottom of the pot.  Take note that food only gets stuck to the bottom of the pot when cooking food that dries up at the end such as rice. With time, you can adjust your timing to get even more perfect rice.
  • The largest pot size is 6L. If you want a bigger pot, then you may need to consider one of the other pots. The 6L is big enough for most families.

The Pressure King Pro 20-in- one Electric Pressure Cooker is a great pot to have. With all the functions that you have at the press of a button, this pot is bound to become a daily feature in your kitchen. If you have an average family, you are up to the task of trying out all the functions and you enjoy creating new recipes, this electric pressure cooker is for you.
